The Foundation of Quality Canadian Windows and Doors
Our partners are carefully selected manufacturers and suppliers who help Total Home Windows and Doors deliver superior products to homeowners across the Greater Toronto Area. Since transitioning to in-house manufacturing in 2023, we’ve built relationships with industry-leading companies including Vision, Cardinal Glass, Truth, Roto, and Aluplast—each bringing specialized expertise to our 60,000 square-foot facility where we produce 150 windows daily.
Quality windows start with quality materials. We don’t cut corners by sourcing from multiple suppliers based on price. Instead, we work with the same trusted partners for every project. This consistency means every window that leaves our facility meets the same exacting standards, whether you’re replacing a single casement window or outfitting an entire home.
The fenestration industry in Ontario generates over $1.2 billion annually, yet not all manufacturers prioritize material quality. Our approach differs. We’ve visited each partner’s facilities, reviewed their testing protocols, and verified their commitment to ENERGY STAR™ certification requirements before establishing long-term agreements.
Vision Extrusions Group supplies the vinyl profiles that form the backbone of our window systems. Their Canadian-made uPVC materials withstand Ontario’s temperature swings—from -30°C winters to +35°C summers—without warping or deteriorating.
Cardinal Glass provides our low-E glass units with advanced coatings that reflect heat while allowing natural light. Their manufacturing process creates sealed units with R-values exceeding 4.0, which directly translates to lower heating costs for homeowners.
Truth Hardware manufactures the operating mechanisms in our windows. Their balances, hinges, and operators undergo 50,000 cycle tests—equivalent to opening and closing a window twice daily for 68 years. This durability backs our lifetime warranty claims.
Roto North America produces our multi-point locking systems, including the Total Seal Lock System that secures windows at multiple points along the frame. Independent testing shows multi-point locks reduce forced-entry success rates by 78% compared to single-point systems.
Aluplast supplies specialized vinyl profiles for our European-style tilt-and-turn windows. Their German-engineered profiles feature reinforced chambers that achieve superior thermal performance without compromising the slim, modern aesthetic these windows demand.
“The difference between good windows and exceptional windows comes down to material science,” explains our lead engineer with 15 years in fenestration manufacturing. “We’ve tested alternatives, but these partnerships represent the best balance of thermal performance, durability, and real-world reliability for Canadian climates.”
Our testing facility runs accelerated weathering simulations equivalent to 25 years of exposure. Products using materials from our partners consistently outperform industry minimums, which matters when you’re making an investment that should last decades.
These partnerships enable Total Home Windows and Doors to compete with—and often exceed—import quality while supporting Canadian manufacturing jobs. Our energy-efficient windows meet or exceed ENERGY STAR™ certified performance requirements, qualifying homeowners for available rebates through provincial programs.
