Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. warrants its windows against defects in material and workmanship, as specified under this Warranty, occurring as a direct result of the manufacturing process, for the product parts and components during the stated period, under regular use and service, subject to the terms and conditions contained herein:
Lifetime Non-Prorated Limited Warranty On Upvc Frames & Sashes
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. warrants that the UPVC window frames and sashes will be free from defects in materials for the product’s lifetime from the date of manufacture. This Warranty ensures that your windows will not chip, crack, warp, rot, blister, pit or corrode under regular use and weather conditions.
Lifetime Limited Warranty On Workmanship
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. warrants all workmanship related to the manufacturing and installation of our products for the original purchaser’s lifetime from the installation date. This Warranty covers any defects due to improper installation or manufacturing processes.
20 Years Non-Prorated Limited Glass Warranty
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. warrants that under normal conditions, dust collection or moisture between the interior glass surfaces will not occur within 20 years of installation. This Warranty applies to the sealed glass unit only.
Hardware Limited Warranty
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. warrants all window hardware, including handles and operating mechanisms, against defects in materials and operation for 10 years from installation, provided they have been properly maintained.
Conditions Not Covered By The Warranty
- Glass breakage of any kind, regardless of cause.
- Any damage during handling or installation by parties other than Total Home Windows and Doors Inc., authorized installers.
- Any liabilities of any nature for unsatisfactory performance caused by faulty workmanship in installation when not performed by Total Home Windows and Doors Inc.
- Any damage caused by the settlement of the building, failure of the structure (including foundation or walls), fire, wind, lightning, and other acts of God, intentional acts, unreasonable use, accidental damage and negligence.
- Improper care, normal weathering, or exposure to harmful chemicals or vapors may, over time, result in minor discoloration or surface deterioration.
- Any damage caused by high in-home humidity (condensation, frost, or mold).
- If the unit is subject to stress from localized heat, causing excessive temperature differential over the glass surface, or from excessive vibration or moving of the building or its foundations.
- If the unit is installed without proper provision for adequate expansion or contraction of the framing members.
Limitations Of Material, Insulated Glass, And Hardware Warranties
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc.’s liability is limited solely and exclusively to the repair or replacement of any components that are deemed to be defective. Replacement or repair of the faulty parts is carried out at the sole discretion of Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. Under no circumstances will Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. be liable for incidental or consequential charges such as, but not limited to, labor costs for any purpose, inconvenience, damage or injury to persons or property, or any other expense.
Replacement Parts Or Repair
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. reserves the right to discontinue or change any window as currently manufactured. Suppose Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. determines to make a replacement under the terms of this limited Warranty, and an exact replacement part is unavailable. In that case, Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. reserves the right to substitute a part or parts of equal quality at its sole discretion.
Transferability
This Warranty, provided by Total Home Windows and Doors Inc., is transferable to subsequent homeowners for the remainder of the warranty period from the date of original installation.
Obtaining Performance Of This Warranty
Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. requires proof of purchase to be presented with any warranty claim. Upon discovery by the owner of any suspected defective component, the owner shall contact Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. All claims must include a copy of the contract. A Total Home Windows and Doors Inc. representative may inspect defective units or parts before warranty service is provided. Replacement parts or units are F.O.B. Total Home Windows and Doors Inc.’s Factory.
